The past several decades have witnessed that the world’s economy is blooming and more finances can be poured into education, especially in the places where students can acquire knowledge and master skills. Along with this phenomenon comes a heated discussion: is going on field trips better for children’s education than staying in the classroom at school? As for me, I have no doubt in proclaiming the importance of the latter and I would explore the rationalities behind this idea in this following paragraphs.

To put it into nutshell, I can safely draw a conclusion that children can learn much from going on field trips than staying in the classroom at school. Just as an idiom that goes, no practice, no gain in one’s wit. The most effective way for people to master knowledge is to put what we have learned into practice and check if they are rational.

With the remarkable progress of people’s living standard, getting a good quality of education seems to be a very important thing, as education accounts for the knowledge acquired now but also influence the ability performed in the future. When it comes to the way to educate children, there are usually two approaches: to study by going field trips or to study in classroom. As for me, I prefer to learn knowledge in a more practical way such as field trips rather than learning in classroom. And there are some reasons and examples to illustrate my point of view. To put it in a nutshell, clearly justified through above-mentioned reasons and examples, students are worth taking field trips to acquire knowledge than learning only through lessons in classroom, for the field trips enable students to have a better understanding of knowledge and also cultivate interest to shape their future lives.
