#托福口语方法课第二节# 1. If you could choose any job in the world, which of the following job would be the most rewarding for you, a university professor, an environmental scientist or a newspaper journalist?
• Frankly speaking, I’d like to choose the university professor as my most rewarding job.
• University is the place that people share and discuss their opinions of particular subjects and it enchants me to give my perspective and teach others.
• I can improve myself not only from taking advantage of the school recourses but from the students I teach as well.
• Also, I think it’s a good thing to pass down the knowledge to more people and make a difference, isn’t it?
• When I meet different varieties of students, imply them about how to fix specific problems will help them in their future daily life.
• Salary of professor is generally not low.
• I may give lectures, do researches, or have a part-time job of a company’s consultant, anything relevant that I want to do.
• What’s more, the time is completely free due to the holidays the same as students.
• Basically, it’s a relaxing job with lots of pleasure, enthusiasm, and dedication in it.
• So, what a regarding job the professor is!
2. Some people like to attend big classes and study with a lot of people around; others choose independent learning with very few people around. Which way of learning works better for you? Why? Include specific details in your response.
• Attending big classes is better for me I think.
• The first reason is that big classes have the environment of the study.
• For instance, some students in class discuss their solutions so that it motivates others to join the study easier.
• Secondly a big class enables students to be taught in right methods by teachers and it makes them absorb the knowledge effectively and correctly.
• Owing to our lack of experience, I often take a rather roundabout course in study.
• Of course, the independent learning atmosphere will make you feel comfortable and quiet.
• However, don’t you think you are also unable to get things into shapes?
• Big classes now come in handy.
• It sets plans for you so that you know what you are going to do during the whole day, especially for people who don’t have self-discipline like me.
• All in all, I’d rather stay in big classes and study with lots of people.

If you could choose any job in the world, which of the following job would be the most rewarding for you, a university professor, an environmental scientist or a newspaper journalist?[br]1. If I could choose any job in the world, I would like to be a newspaper journalist. [br]2. Because I don’t have much interest in science, and this is my dream all the time.[br]3. Newspaper journalist is a job that requires a lot of physical energy besides professional knowledge unlike university professor and environmental scientist.[br]4. Journalists can quickly spread news around the world to people, and show people the truth, the ugliness, the goodness of the world.[br]5. What a sacred job it is![br]6. Isn’t such the job which serve the public enough to realize the value of your life?[br]7. It is not easy to speak the truth, but we need to expose the ugly of the world, rather than hide it.[br]8. I believe that people who share my idea is not a few, right?[br]9. The world needs people like this.[br]10. If you have such a dream, I hope we can work together to make the world a better place. [br]Some people like to attend big classes and study with a lot of people around, others choose independent learning with very few people around. Which way of learning works better for you? Why? Include specific details in your response.[br]1. Everyone has their own way of learning.[br]2. Personally, I like to attend big classes and study with a lot of people around rather than independent learning with very few people around.[br]3. Because I think study with a lot of people can help me understand the knowledge more quickly, and more self-discipline.[br]4. I’m a student who lacks self-discipline and have low learning efficiency.[br]5. So I need someone else’s supervision when I’m studying.[br]6. Are there many students like me?[br]7. On the other side, I can ask someone else when trouble’s on my mind.[br]8. This is such a good way to help me solve the problem quickly![br]9. Of course, all approaches have advantages and disadvantages.[br]10. But the best is the one that right for you. Everyone should find a way that right for yourself. [br]
1.If I could choose any job of the three, guess what I will choose? [br]2.Of course, a university professor![br]3.You may wonder why?[br]4.Because it will create more opportunity to interact with students, most of whom are the young, which can benefit me on with two aspects, my academic study and my daily live life. [br]5.Students can always think of many novel ideas which can would inspire me if I happen to meet some challenges on in my personal study.[br]6.For example, if I am mathematics professor and struggling with a puzzle.[br]7.During a discussion with my students, I may have a ton of inspiration.[br]8.Being a professor would makes have a profound profounder effect for my whole life,[br]9.Nowadays, most of the seniors, and even some of the mid-aged people, refuse to accept more advanced ideas contradicting their original ones, which will result in an increasingly wide generation gap.[br]10.Keeping in touch with my students, I can update my concepts at once, and you know, a senior with a youngster’s mindset is super cool! [br]1.This is a heated debate all the time.[br]2.Some people may claim that learning in a big class is better for some reasons such as having a good learning atmosphere[br]3.However, I am totally of the opinion that the smaller the class size, the better quality of education.[br]4.Would you like to know why?[br]5.Firstly, it is easy for a teacher to manage just a few students.[br]6.For example, when a student almost falls asleep during the class, the teacher can remind him (or her ) in time without being worried about if this action wastes the time of so many other students.[br]7.Besides, fewer students, less noise![br]8.Also, there are usually some impulsive students in a big class who asks questions without thinking, and of course, the questions they mentions are all immature.[br]9.Taking courses with just a few people, on the other hand, allows the teacher to pose high-qualified questions.[br]10.Therefore, a small class is evidently more effective and efficient.[br]
