老师早上好呀，请问这题为什么选 B 啊？我做题的时候把 This land mass 当成是指代上一句的 land mass，所以就没把句子插到这里。看了答案之后感觉句子插入到 B 确实读起来比较合理，B 后面讲述到了句子中的 large animals ，但是我做题的时候没看出来，老师能不能讲一下你的做题思路啊？

            同学你好~

句子插入题有两个切入点，一个是逻辑（逻辑连接词），一个是代词指代（it/this 等等）。

插入的这句话开头 Nevertheless 是表示【转折关系】的连接词，且这句话在说的是 animals survive，那么就回到原文去看哪里有提到 animal，且前后是【转折关系】。

本段一二句顺承下来，都是在说 Beringian 过去的地貌贫瘠。而第三句开始说这块地 support 了很多动物。

“贫瘠”与“support”之间应该是一个【转折关系】，所以句子应该插入到一二句与第三句之间。

另外第三句提到的若干动物，也与插入句子的 large animals 对应了起来。

句子插入题一定要善用逻辑关系，通过逻辑关系去做题，比起单纯翻译句子，既准确又快速。

            冒号前面这句 Life itself was a perpetual and punishing search for food 表达了一个观点，即 “生活本身就是一场无休止的、惩罚性的寻找食物的过程”。冒号后面则是对这个观点的具体说明，也就是起到了同位语的作用，所以是同位语从句~

选项是 articulated 鸭，articulated 在词典上的意义是 attached, joined, coupled, jointed, hinged an articulated lorry，在韦氏词典中 ariticulated 的意思是 having a hinge or pivot connection especially to allow negotiation of sharp turns 指的是 工程问题。

另外，还有一些逻辑类入门书籍不错，比如《一本小小的蓝色逻辑书》《批判性思维》《学会提问》这些对于你逻辑能力的提升都很有帮助。
